The Tooele County Master Gardeners remind everyone that there are two farmers markets available for local gardeners and farmers to bring produce and/or crafts for sale.
The downtown Tooele market will open Fridays from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. on the lawn (under shady trees) in front of the county courthouse, 47 S. Main. Tables and chairs will be provided for venders. Buyers and sellers are needed and welcomed. The downtown market will run weekly for at least four weeks.
The Benson Grist Mill Farmers Market will be open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. until the Pumpkin Walk in October. Booths are free and are available on a first come, first served basis. Please bring your garden produce, craft items and garage sale items. The Farmers Market is also in need of musicians. For more information contact Chirs at 882-7678.
